"One of my most memorable photo assignments was for People Magazine in 1991,when I approached them with the idea of doing a piece on the Neville Brothers, who had just put together an album called Yellow Moon.
A week later I was standing on the porch of a shotgun house on Valence Street. Aaron drove me back to my hotel and sang acapella in his car. New Orleans was calling. There was no way back."
